Antarctic Request for proposals commences

September 13, 2016

The corporation is pleased to advise that the Antarctic Request for Proposals (RFP) stage has now commenced, with submissions from participants due in late November 2016. The Antarctic RFP includes the precincts immediately adjacent to the working port and will add enormous value to Hobart’s reputation as an international gateway to Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.

The RFP stage requires participants to provide greater design detail, further evidence that their proposals align with the Macquarie Point masterplan, and more detailed financial information regarding the viability of their projects. Proposals will be assessed against criteria relating to development credentials and capability, design and amenity, environmental sustainability and financial offer.

Those participating in the RFP stage were shortlisted from the Expression of Interest stage, which closed earlier this year.
